ok maybe you say: "My profession?! I sell on eBid!" Right, but what I mean is that many sellers are part time sellers or retirees or this is their 2nd job. What's you main profession or "other" job?
I'm an engineer. Selling online was my 2nd job but now it's the first.

I retired because my profession pretty much got exported to other countries.

Worked for (I think) 15 different organizations. Whenever I got fed up with the BS I'd go out and find another job.

And I'll bet that's more than you wanted to know (grin).

right now, I work for an auctioneer.

started training as a travel agent (3 months) then changed countries to live in
wife, mother, housewife etc
Lunchtime supervisor Assistant aka dinner lady in an infant school (14 years)
Sales assistant (14+ years)
Now unpaid dogsbody and seller on the web

i used to work in a bank in new jersey processing return item and the like
now i am an unemployed auctioneer as luvintage put it. i like that so i guess i am not uemployed just under employed. lol
i moved to Florida almost 9 months ago and still no job. the economy here stinks

Retired now but most of my life i worked in a builders merchants.But have always been a jazz/rock/blues vocalist.Had many a chance to go pro but always been a family man formost so kept it local.But have opened for a lot of pro bands.

started in retail..... 25 years later finished in retail and went self employed as a postcard dealer and did fairs, Then due to pam's health became a fulltime seller on the internet.......

So I can truly say "my profession IS selling on the internet" :-)
