Hi,
I think it's wonderful that EBid is sending a feed to The Find.
BUT...
We need an Opt Out option just like the option to opt out of the Google Shopping feed.
I send my own feed to The Find and this is causing double listings from my company.
Hi,
I think it's wonderful that EBid is sending a feed to The Find.
BUT...
We need an Opt Out option just like the option to opt out of the Google Shopping feed.
I send my own feed to The Find and this is causing double listings from my company.
I have closed all of my listings and will not list anymore until an OPT OUT is given for the Find.
I surely hope that only active listings with active members are being sent...
otherwise The Find will be flooded with listings from absent sellers..
and will cause removal from The Find after enough complaints are sent by users of The Find when they are unable to contact a seller.
I am only saying this to protect EBid... Please do not get upset with me.

Hi all,
The Find is a shopping engine that is similar to Google, free to send a feed and list your items. It was in the June 2010 newsletter from EBid, I guess some don't read it or receive it.
"We're teaming up with Thefind.com comparison engine to promote your items to an even larger audience, expect to find eBid listings there within a week or so."
<Surely the easier option for the time being is for you to stop sending them.No more double listings - simples!>
I send my own feed from my own website, just like I do with Google Shopping. I was listing on EBid as a way to expand sales, and to reach a wider buyer pool to Ebid buyers. Just like anyone, I prefer buyers to buy direct and not pay fees but I don't mind supporting another website with fees if it helps to increase sales.
But there is no option to NOT send my items to The Find... hence I was forced to remove my listings and remove my stores.
