Thread: Why can't all buyers be like this?

  1. #1

Question Why can't all buyers be like this?

I sold a high value games console to a lovely lady today... woohoo!

Not only that but she paid me an additional £50 on top of my standard P&P costs because...

I want the item to be posted to my husband today, He went on evangelical assignment in Synagogue Church of all nation and he will be celebrating his 43rd birthday next week so i want it to get there before then...
    Awww...bless her heart!

I hope the leader of the Synagogue Church of all nation can forgive me because, I'm ashamed to admit, I had my doubts regarding this deal which seemed "too good to be true".

How foolish did this particular 'doubting Thomas' feel though when only minutes later the official payment confirmation email came through from 'Paypal' together with the delivery address details:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Shipping Information:
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shipping Method :RoyalMail Sign For International Delivery Abroad.

Paypal Ordered Confirmation and approval of this Payment. The shipping address is given below as an international delivery. You are reqiured to make the Posting of the Ebay item before your account can be creditted immediately.

Below Is The Confirmed Shipping Information As Shown In The Payment Credit Card.

    Name: EVANGELIST SEUN BALOGUN
Address:1 ADAMO STREET OPP SYNAGOGUE CHURCH OF ALL NATION
    City: IKOTUN EGBE.
    State: LAGOS
    Zip Code:23401
    Country:Nigeria.

I would suggest what is "reqiured" the most by 'Paypal' is someone who knows how to use a spell-checker - I hope I get "creditted" with that one

In the meantime the games console is on the way to the lucky hubby using Porcine Post airmail...

Just out of interest I went to google maps
    Typed in
    Adamo Street Ikotun Egbe

Which tree are you getting the item delivered to?
Or you reckon that could be a ''branch'' of SYNAGOGUE CHURCH OF ALL NATION

    Ha ha... nice spot Mags.

It shouldn't matter if I get the wrong address as I think the deity of the "Synagogue Church of all nation" covers most areas already

For some reason the first time I posted the above message it was deleted by Admin.

I have repeated it and quoted it in the hope I can find a possible reason why...

Yes I noticed that - assumed you had deleted it to amend it, but obviously not.

I hope you don't get your money claimed back from Poo pal like my son did when he sold something supposedly in Nigeria. There are plenty of folks who know full well how to pull off a scam. They very quickly claim their money back on high priced goods but are clever enough to wait until the item is on its way and it is too late for you not to post. I hope your sale goes through ok but I can't help but have my doubts, it sounds too good to be true especialy with the extra £50. I would claim my money fast if I were you.
