    Default Couple of suggestions...

    In no particular order:

    i) Place a bid/buy now button at the bottom of the auction listing, along with shipping information, etc... just a quick overview so that anyone who does actually read the description doesn't have to bother looking for 'top' or scroll all the way back up. It annoyed me when ebay removed this.

ii) Must partner with shipping companies or postage label printing companies. In the US, these include stamps.com, endicia.com, shiprush.com. If you don't want to open the API to users, at least let some partners have access and create apps. Time = Money and it's a PITA to transfer addresses one at a time into other programs.

iii) Partner with a cashback site to draw visitors to the site. I know mrrebates.com pays for referrals, so why not have a promotion with them to offer maybe 2-3% cashback on ebid purchases and make money from advertising them on the front page and earning referrals? Obviously make a rule that listings can not have referrals in them?

iv) Have an option so that the first picture doesn't appear before the auction description for those that know how to put pictures in their own description.

I'm sure there are plenty more things I could come up with, but that will do for now I'm gonna try and start selling on here, but really need things to become less time consuming.

I haven't thought of shipping as an issue. I have an USPS.com account and it accepts PPal. It is actually
cheaper to go straight there than go through feebay.

    @Relistic
    Some interesting ideas there.

I think listing on ebid is much easier than on some other sites.
(I just don't like the stupid purple bar that comes up right across the screen !)

Default Should add one day selling option

it is no good if you want a quick sale, also if your item not sold, you need to wait for at least three days again. the people won't like to wait so long to bid an item.

    Doh, I so agree!
    Is it *absolutely* necessary?
I have to keep moving my newly listed items up and down (trying to avoid that darn purple bar ) to see what I have put before it goes 'live'. It's annoying. Please get rid of it.

(Had a bad day, so getting a wee bit tetchy)

    Hi

Julie totally agree with the purple bar comment how annoying is that. you cant even see the listing that your supposed to be checking with that bar in the way time for it to get removed me think maybe with a clear bar. I think you could prob start a new post with who wants the purple bar removed as a heading.

The bar is supposed to be virtually transparent unless you mouse cursor is directly over it. That how it works for me and I can view my listing perfectly clearly through it.
