    Default Carboot Sales

I am an experienced seller on Ebay, and joined eBid just a couple of days ago.

About twice a month I sell my goods at carboot sales, and I only discovered eBid when another carboot seller mentioned it to me last weekend. Thinking about this, I am sure that printing up a few hundred flyers and giving them to everyone who stops at my carboot stall will be a fantastic way of advertising, not just for my own eBid store, but also of course for eBid in general.

Just thought I'd mention it, I'm gonna print off a load myself, cut them up, and hopefully drag a few more people over to eBid.

    Cheers
    Richard

Did a carboot sale yesterday (a good one, I made over £300), and started spreading the nes about feebay being a total ripoff. Normally at carboots when people ask me where I normally sell, I gave them my feebay name, but yesterday I gave everyone my eBid store name. Haven't got around to printing off the flyers yet, but I will deffo do that this week before my next carboot sale next weekend.

When I sell at a car boot or take my crafts to a craft Fair I always wear my "eBid T-Shirt". Ideal way to promote.

I've been round car boot sales for years but they seem to be dying on their feet lately. The genuine ';booter' selling stuff they no longer have a use for or the ones moving house or going abroad seem to have been replaced by market stalls selling junk and people selling fakes and lugging the same old stuff out of the van week in and week out.
It's nearly as bad as trawling the clobber on ebay.

    Cool maddiem

Hi car boot sales, What a great idea, I have been doing ebay for about 2 years now and have only just realised how much money I am giving to them.

I have only signed up today for ebid and it is going to take me a time to sort it out, Once I have sorted it and I am conferdent in useing it, I throught it would be a good idea to put a note in each parcel I send on ebay and introduce them to ebid, what do you think.

    Regards Maddie

I only started doing carboots recently, and the ones around here are still mainly full of genuine "booters". On a personal level it's great for me, as I normally take home between £150 and £300 for a few hours work, with no fees associated. It is certainly a welcome boost to my monthly income.

Ok, printed off a few hundred little flyers/business cards, and am off to a big carboot sale in a couple of hours (damn it's early!!). Fingers crossed I'll have a good sale today, and also bring across a few dozen people to eBid!
