    @Stylusman
    Welcome - hope you like it here.
    Yes If you plan to list regulalry join as a Seller+ You will soon save that amount in feebay listing fees.
    If have got 10 auctions set up and now they just run themselves and cost me nothing. I just need to work on them and tweak them.

    @happyhammer
    You put it very well. It is slower here, but ebid must be the second best auction site in the UK and in to the top 3 in the States. We are getting new members all the time. And we are on Google Product Search.
    But we do need to boost those auction listing numbers with more variety. (Its been around 2 million since December)

    Yes you are the second person that has said that julie so i think i may go ahead and get a 60 day when i get paid next and see how it goes then after that prob sign up for a lifetime of service lol. One thing I have found really annoying is watching the amount of people that are viewing my listings its almost like its teasing me it makes me wanna keep coming to my computer and checking it lol.

    As I said stylus... post on forums as a newbie and we all go off & have a lookey.

    Personally I am not convinced the vieing count is accurate.

    Things are a LOT slower here for me but I have already made my seller lifetime fee back so am happy bunny with that )

    Haven't got all my eggs in one basket though

    And you're right, it's MUCH friendlier here!
    One caution, do not assume that it is slow because you are getting less traffic/ sales. You need to read the forums, use the selling tips, and change your style of selling because the customer base is different here. If you do not do this, you will not sell well here. If you want to sell well here, you need to make changes.

    I make at least 5 sales a day here, many other sellers make a lot more per day. BUT you need to make changes, not just bring your feebay listings over. That is an vital change you have to make. If you need help in doing it, come to the forums and we will help you get selling fast.

I have had a good experience so far, people here are much friendlier and I have every hope that this site will continue to grow in popularity. Quite honestly with the amount of people I know personally and read about in the forums that are moving over to ebid things can only get better. I think ebid are building a seller base that they should be proud of This is the place to be as far as I am concerned
    wishing you good luck
    Remember you have to make changes and not just continue to run listings that appealed to feebay buyers. Our buyers come from google AND ebid AND old feebay buyers AND our own marketing. Not just a pool of feebay buyers. Read the forums, make the changes, list more items, add new items often, etc. Technique is different, you need lots of items to get google/search engine attention. Strong keywords in title/description. Variety of goods, variety of prices, etc etc etc. Get the balance right and you will have daily sales. Keep using feebay techniques and you will get few sales.

    Many of us have daily sales using all kinds of selling/marketing tips that we have put on the forums. We will also help you by analyzing your listings, and suggesting tweeks to get those sales coming faster. Do NOT wait, because if you do that, you will find out many months down the road that had you changed the duration of the listing, used different keywords, etc, you might have had sales the first week. Why wait? Get everything polished, stock your stores full, and the sales will come very quickly.

    It is to our advantage and ebid's advantage to get all new sellers up and running fast. if you need help, someone is always here to help you. A refreshing change, eh?

    Hi yes you are right it is a refreshing change everyone is so friendly on here and willing to share their knowledge instead of being stuck up and secretive like they are on feebay. I have noticed that most of my listings are on 1st pages already on google shopping which i am of course happy about considering i only put these items on yesterday. If anyone has time on their hands your more than welcome to take a look at my listings and any advice given will be much appreciated as it will take me sometime to snap out of my feebay ways. Does the duration of listings really make that much difference ? I am sure my keywords are pretty spot on but like i have said any advice is appreciated as I am the newby here and you guys have the experience

    Had a quick look stylus - love your lights..

    Main thing I would say is to either update your all about me page or at least add some T&C to your listings. Take a look at my page to see what I mean

    I like to know who I am buying from, what their returns policy is and if as a business seller they are going to know about MY rights as an on-line buyer. Let me know you are serious seller that I can trust to do right by me )

    Please do take the time to read Astral knowledge page
