I don't agree that we should all buy items we probably don't want. How well ebid does should be about genuine sells, not on ebid sellers feeling like that ought to buy something, anything.

Some people like to browse & may well find something they like - auctions like mine are great for these sort of people. But other people will only buy when they want something & I think the best commitment those people could make is to at least check here first before trying feebay or wherever.

I list things that I would want to buy myself. And I always check here FIRST if there is something I want. Unfortch....not much of what I want is found here. SO with that being said, I stock my store with things I would be looking for! Make sense? :-)

That is where most (all) of my sales have come from - ebid users (mostly forum users).
As everyone says, the trick is we need to get the general public to think of ebid instead of feebay or Google.
(Google is not good for me as I am in New Zealand and Google Product Search is only for the UK, USA and Germany)
And the fact that Google have not extended it for a couple of years says something to me.

PS - Has anyone bought that comode cover yet ?

Whenever I purchase something online, I always check ebid first. If it is not here I go to google. And then...to the darkside. About what I sell...anything and everything that I don't need anymore and that I come across that I think others might like or need.
