Help!!! Coronation Street fans, your help is needed...

I have been writing off to TV shows and celebs to get odds and ends donated for our amdram fundraiser... had a lovely suprise today but also a puzzle..

In response to an email I sent a couple of weeks ago, the producers of the TV soap opera Coronation Street, donated this top worn by the character Diedre Barlow to our fundraiser. It came this morning with a letter and certificate of authenticity. They said they would also pop in a photo of her in the costume, but forgot as there wasnt one in the envelope.

A quick google hunt hasnt revealed anything, and as someone who doesnt watch soaps, I am slightly hamstrung. Do any of you who like Corrie, know of a pic of her in that top, that I can print off to go with the auction stuff? I would be soooo grateful.

This is really weird. That top is haunting me, lol. I was watching Emerdale last week which is on just before Corrie and the Landlady of the pub Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) was wearing that top!!! I noticed it because I thought it was very 80s looking which is back in fashion now. Then on came Corrie and I couldnt believe it when Deidre was wearing the exact same top! I asked my daughter if she faulth ITV shared the same wardrobe? And now here it is again. I dont know if this info is of any use to you but if Im correct your top has been worn by 2 famous ladies!!

Im sure it was last weeks episodes of Emmerdale and Corrie. If not it must have been week before or this week. Perhaps you could watch them on i player?? Have a look in telly guide it shouldnt be to hard to find a day when Emmerdale and Corrie were on next to each other due to the football...

I did a google search but couldnt find anything...

We cant have Iplayer because of bandwith considerations, and its a still photo I need to print off wto go with the other bits... but if I am round a friends house who has unlimited broadband, I will have a look.

Interesting that it was on Emmerdale too, hehe. fantastic.

Yep, so you can say "also worn by Diane Sugden". It did cross my mind that perhaps avid viewers had written to the ITV as they noticed both ladies wearing it on the same evening too. Perhaps thats why they thought lets get shot of it
