User Profile "Their Auctions"

When viewing listings in "Their Auctions" the page doesn't show whether the listed items have received any bids and we all know that bids attract bids. Don't you agree?......or am I missing something!

Yes i think it would be good if they bought watchers back.

But I believe they removed them a while ago.

Was this for technical reasons ?
Or did Gazza and Mark think they should have removed them for another reason ?

They added visible bids then removed them. I believe this was because the paucity of bids made the site look bad. Watchers are a completely different thing. You can put an item on your watch list without bidding on it. Watchers have never been shown, as far as I know.

There have never been watchers here, at least, not since I've been around. There are however, 'views'
I would like to see the bids column back in place again.

What are your usual percentages when listing for the above 3.
Mine are..
1- 20%
2- 20%
3- 60%

I can't see bids being displayed again any time soon. Admin clearly were never in favour of them being there. The did sucumb to pressure for a short while but took the opportunity of the revamp to lose them again.

While we delude ourselves (some people too much) that we direct the way the site develops the bottom line is that it is the owners who decide what does and does not happen. If they dig their heels in on an issue then there is nothing (not even Kim's puppy eyes) that can be done about it.

Luckily for me I have never seen them being there or not to be an issue.

I wish the guys would let us see how many watchers our auctions have. I've found it useful elsewhere, and believe I would find it useful here too.
