It works fine in Firefox but I get the same problem in IE.

I think they are fiddling with the forum layout. It has been acting odd all morning. Closing Auctions are back but it seems to be messing up the rest of the screen layout.
I think you just need to give it a day for them to stop messing and then report any oddities that remain.
