    Default Hello :)

Decided to take a look at eBid as an alternative to ebay. I think it's necessary. Ebay is getting away with murder at the moment. Hope in time things will change.

My suggestion here is that in order to attract more business quicker that eBid annouce periodically that any ad run on ebay can run here at the same time. Just a thought.

Cool Diecast Toyguy has arrived on the site.

    Hello:
I am a seller on eBay who is finding it more and more expensive and complicated to sell there. I have decided to try it out here. I am just here now as Nobleco, my user name all over the net, and would appreciate any tips and hints as to the use of this site. I have over 500 items up for sale at any given time on ebay and maybe I can do the same here.
I am in BC Canada in the Beautiful Boundary District of the West Kootenay. Very mountainous and some of the best riding and driving roads in North America. Hwy 3, check it out.
I have been selling parts for over 5 years now and I have been doing restorations for over 4. I have customers from all over the world and would be happy to give references if you so wish. Contact me if you have something you need restored to its original glory. I can't do magic but some say I am close.
Hope to have some fun and success here.
Cheers to all who read this post.
    Jim Noble in Canada.

I cater to the diecast collector and restorer by selling parts, decals and tires for Dinky, Corgi and Matchbox toys among others. I also do restorations and code 3's. I have a web site you can see my work and link to some of my favorite sites there. Go to www.dinkytoyguy.com and check me out. Check out my eBay store http://stores.shop.ebay.ca/Diecast-T...g-to-New-Venue
but it will be moving over here soon.

Hey Arizona, not that far away from you in BC Canada. Just straight north to the west kootenay. Look for Greenwood. Smallest incorporated city in Canada. LOL 665 people live here. (they won't say 666 on the web site, chickens) Incorporated in 1897

Welcome Jim. Sounds like an interesting town. We're in the big metro of Whitecourt, pop roughly 8,000. "The Snowmobile capital of Alberta'. lol

If you read through the posts there are some very good threads about selling on eBid. I hope that you have a some good sales here.

Hi, new to eBid. Looks interesting. I am "down under" (Australia). And we are most desolate at the moment that the Socceroos were beaten by Germany. Thought for the day: the best team won on the day.

Thanks for the welcome from Whitecourt Alberta. I have actually been thru there when I drove hot shot in the mid 80's. For those who don't know HOT Shot services are trucks that take stuff like bottles and jars (technical terms for equipment used in the oil fields of Alberta) on a 45 ft Trailer on a 10' short frame 5 ton truck to places most people have never been let alone want to go. Ask Marie, she should know about places like High River and High Level and points North. 14 hour drive from Edmonton to some of these places and not much in between but Northern Alberta at its best. Just glad I don't do that any more.

Hey Choco, sorry for your loss in the games. I am sort of rooting for NZ but have Auz and SF in there too. Chile did good today.
