Why wont it let me log in

Hi ive just joined, it will let me log into the forums but wont let me log into buy or log in to upgrade to sell. any help? or is the site having problems?

Most likely cause, in my experience, is that you are blocking eBid from storing a cookie on your PC.

Info on the browser and OS you are using would be helpful.

im using windows 7 & internet explorer. but its not the cookies as i went to privacy on internet explorer & went to the lowest level to allow any cookies & it still wouldnt work. thanks.

Go back to the Privacy tab and click on the button captioned Sites (just below the slider).

Check that no eBid domain is listed as Blocked.

If it is then it doesn't matter where the slider is set - the cookies will still be blocked.

I just set me other laptop up & it let me log in, but the fan goes too hot on that laptop & it crashes all the time so really need to log in on this laptop. so it must be the settings wrong somewhere.

OK...next (but I am running out of ideas).

Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security

Click on the Restricted Sites icon.

Click on the Sites button.

Ensure no eBid domain is listed there - if it is remove it.

Tools > Internet Options > General

From under Browsing history click on the button captioned Delete...

Click the Delete button.
