Thread: ALmost there!!!!!!!!

  1. #1

    Default ALmost there!!!!!!!!

After 10 days of moving my raised flowers beds back 6 feet, digging foundations and laying a patio.......several injuries including broken finger......am almost done!!!

Started filling the pool at 8 am today - another 8 inches and it is full.

Am now ready to blow up the lilo and lay back!!!

(and found my sons swimming action man and submarine from when he was a kid!!!)

    Enjoy!
But make sure the water doesn't evaporate from the pool too quickly in this heat ... those 8" could be never ending!!

Its only one of those cheapo above ground pools - 10ft diameter by 30 inches deep.
Took just over 950 gallons to fill it.

At the end of this summer am gonna extend the flattened patio area so can get a 16 foot pool - just ran out of time for this year!

Just hope the weather stays nice now!

If you're on a meter you would know.

But I doubt yer are on a meter (A Scot paying for so much water)

I mean that's gotta be half a years worth for a single person on a meter!

Water is (Probably) more expensive than lager at the moment!

    Nah not on a meter.

Just been and ''tested the water'' to make sure I had all my angles worked out.
Television at a slight angle just inside the kitchen door, laying in pool, remote works to change the Sky channels etc, can reach the table with my little cool box full of beer. Roll on the World Cup
