We went to our daughters for a barbie on saturday.I wasn't looking forward to it as our tastes in music differ somewhat!
I was pleasantly surprised when the album "Strike" by The Baseballs came on.Here they are doing Robbie Williams' Angels.

I haven't got the album yet but I do intend to get it.... it's nice to hear a rock-a-billy group playing modern songs
Isn't variation in taste fascinating? *shudder*
So you never aspired to being a "Pink Lady" then ,Kim?
This band do seem to have caused a bit of a stir. I wonder if it wil spark some sort of retro revival, int eh same way that bands like the Jets, Matchbox, Stray Cats etc, did a couple of decades ago.
I never really liked those bands much, but the interest they generated did swell the rockin' scene for quite a while.
Be interesting to see what happens...... You never know, it might even generate a little more interest in some of my old LPs of original 50's recordings
