    Dear Gazza (Administrator),

    Thank you for your reply.

Although, I deleted two of my listings due to my stated reasons in the original post, but I do have links for those where they appear at their entirity. My intention was to use these two listings as trial case. If I would have succeeded on my own to list successfully, I would try to list remainders, but I did not succeed. I copied these two listings from the source location to my hard drive using Word 2007. Then, I tried to copy these from Word 2007 to eBid portal. Preview and Save functions indicated successful copy, but 15 hours later I found these listings were truncated. Later, I did some editing but still could not regain the last three paragraphs, starting from SHIPMENT SCHEDULE to downward.

    Here are the links,

My sincere hope that I would be able list these as they appear with your help. My desire is to list 20 more, but some of the listings are much larger.

If there is any progress to be reported on this issue, please do not hesitate to drop me a line using my registered email address with eBid account as I do not visit very often to the Forum. I assume you have access to my email address as being eBid's system administrator.

Thank you again for your help.

    With Regards,
    Dr. Kabir

Apparently demanding and making threats *is* the way to get help here. I must remember that.

Maybe the intermediate step should be to paste into notepad, and then copy from notepad into Ebid.
The text formatting could then be applied within the Ebid editor, and I am guessing that the listing would then fit perfectly

I didn't think links to your eBay auctions were allowed on these forums.

I can't see any of his listings anyway. hummmm is there a reason for that Kim or is it just where he will or won't send? Maybe something has changed on my settings that I am unaware of.
I look forward to any tips.

Hello all. I'm new to ebid but not new to online selling. Interesting enough I had exactly the same problem with my listing. I understand his frustration although I don't necessarily agree with his tone (Dr or not!).
I spent a lot time trying to correct this and never had any idea why it happens. After contacting the support, I learned there's a 40,000 HTML character limit although the FAQ page says the character limit is 500,000 and it doesn't say HTML characters; it says description characters. It's confusing.
Well, though 40,000 can be enough if you work around it but will make problems like this when you try to import listings from other sites. And I don't understand the big difference between 500,000 and 40,000. Is it because of band width problem or something? Did the limit decreased? Why not increase it to the original 500000?
Anyway, I had to do what fountainDVD said: I copied everything to notepad then copied that to ebid editor then edited the text right there. I could make the listing look better than it is now but this limitation is limiting me!!
I'll list more items later but maybe you "experienced" sellers can tell me if it's good or not? I appreciate it.

Can't say I have ever seen any limits laid down so I can't comment on those. Maybe any limits are dictated by the editor itself rather than eBid (just a guess).

Usually when someone complains of hitting limits or listings not looking as they should it turns out they have used Word to create their listings. This introduced an amazing amount of garbage code which causes problems. Using the Paste from Word option often resolves that.

I don't know what your original code was like but the code in your currently listed item has a lot of unnecessary code in it. The same style definitions are repeated line after line. Wrapping sections in block elements where you only have to define a style once would free up a lot of space - or even use a style sheet.
