I voted No. We need to encourage new buyers.

I presume this doesn't preclude those with negative feedback.

I've always set my feedback requirement to 0, as I want to encourage newbies. I've occasionally tried bidding on items where I discovered I couldn't buy because at the time my feedback was too low - and when I contacted the seller, they didn't even realise (or had forgotten) they had set it that way. Doesn't make sense for low-value items, but maybe if someone is selling high-value items, more of a target for fraud, they will want to keep that option?

No, don't use it but would like some method to control sales / and or cancel bids/purchases from buyers with too many negatives. Not currently a problem but just thinking of future possibilities due to ebid groth.

I'd just like an option to stop members buying if they have a score of -2 or greater negative numbers

Morning Sarah , am I wrong ? I think people with -2 or more neg feedback are banned from ebid .... I am sure there is something like that ?......papa.

Blast, I missed this one. Not that it would have made any difference as I see the majority are in favour of scrapping it. I would have pointed out that it's down to the SELLER's choice - you don't have to implement it for every item; but for higher-value items it would have been useful in preventing the following:

Personally I don't unfortunately make many sales on Ebid; in fact I have only had 3 sales this year.
This year I started listing some more expensive items like laptops and pc's. Of my three sales here are the details:

First item - a pc -was won by a zero feedback new bidder with a buy it now on 15 March. They never paid. Fees refunded but a whole week wasted.

Second item - a laptop - was won by a zero feedback new bidder with a buy it now on 25 April. They never paid. Fees refunded but a whole week wasted.

Third item - a laptop - was won by a zero feedback new bidder (being the only bid placed) on 4 May. There has been no response to invoices sent so this looks like being yet another non-payer with another corresponding waste of time.
