I just saw a thread on here that has now been deleted, the gist of it was that an eBid buyer was being hounded by a seller with neg feedback comments (reciprocated).
The seller accused the buyer of a witch hunt towards sellers, although the buyer (victim) is a seller also.
I did a check on the victim's feedback and sure there were lots of comments listed about the transaction, which the buyer gave negative feedback for, BUT, when I checked the victim's feedback as a buyer (to sellers), indeed there were several negative feedbacks left for others.
What is the point of leaving neg feedback, especially on here, where neg feedback can be reciprocated?
People should perhaps, before purchasing, contact the seller, ensuring that the seller is at hand, even ask for a contact phone number if more questions need to be asked about the item.
Buyers should ensure the seller has a returns policy that complies with Trading Standards UK.
My advice is, don't give neg feedback just for the sake of it, negotiate with the seller, use contact prior to purchase, ensure the item is exactly what you want and confirm it is as described. Check their feedback on here and Greedbay.
I feel the buyer, in this case, has been too liberal with their neg feedback to sellers and has now reaped their reward.
It also looks like the seller - who had 93 positive feedback imported from Greedbay and then had 10 positive on eBid has now cancelled their account because of this buyer's neg feedback.
He had sold the same item to other people and they gave positive feedback, I think this buyer jumped the gun giving neg feedback.
