I totally agree, I am after some obscure foreign films and suchlike, and some books, and would love to be able to use a wanted section to notify me when/if these things are listed.

To add my tuppence worth to this discussion - for me, a wanted section is a waste of time. I put in a couple of adverts for things I wanted, and had no response to those. I also got in touch with quite a few people who had wanted ads in so much as that I had what they were looking for - but the people that placed the wanted ads didn't come back to me.

I agree. Few used it, and seems that no one likes it or misses it.

What features would a perfect wanted section have?

I totally agree papa - my own experiences with it proved it to me to be a real waste of time, effort and energy - both as a potential buyer and hopeful seller
