Right will be heading back today can't miss the offer of a free drink from Captain Jewels !

I also wonder if I'll get presented with a long time service medal and one for courage as it's my 28th wedding anniversary today !

Is there something you are not telling us Private Time ?

Foolhardy I would call it Private Pimp-Smiffy ! I missed out on my 21st birthday celebration as I was too busy getting things ready for the wedding.

Had to arrange everything myself as didn't have a mum to help anymore but it turned out to be a brillant day. Everything was done on the cheap. A friend's mum made the wedding cake, a teacher from hubby's school was our photographer, next door neighbour's son did his car up for us and was our chauffeur, we hired the local community centre and my brother got some of his friends who had a ceilidh band to come and play.

I see these young people now spending thousands and thousands on a wedding and I just think - why?!!! Why start your married life with a huge debt paying off wedding bills ?

    Thanks for the congratulations everybody.

I agree Cornish they spend thousands and last a couple of years.

We did ours ourselves too as we didn't have much money but we are still together.

Good morning all! Looks nice outside again. Just listed 2 new items for BCC. My printer has not been happy. I think it swallowed something it shouldn't have.
I am off to have my tea and toast. Coffee is available for those with heavy eyelids
