Thread: eBid bulk updating

    Default eBid bulk updating

    Hello folks,

I have been trying to overcome this problem for a few days now because I have way too many items to do single editing to listings.
I list all my items without the description and add it after wards because I have too many problems with the content.

Included in this content is a price table with 4 columns and 7 rows, when I attempt to place it into a listing it does not insert properly and the eBid adds become part of it
usually happening on the last row

I check the characters of this portion and it total 26,000 to 28,000 characters (I was thinking that it was over the 30,000 eBid allows)

I just want to have a clean description that contains the proper information for viewers - but this has wasted a week trying to figure it out and I really need to get my items listed so I can work on my other projects and list other items. Any suggestions would be great.

I'm not clear on how you're adding this. When you say problem with bulk updating, are you using the bulk edit facility? If so, are you using the add to description bit? Or what?

An auction ID of a listing displaying the problem would be a great help.

It sound like a problem I had a bit back but without seeing one of your listings I can't offer the solution to my problem as a cure for yours.
