Fixing such things is really a 'hands on' job and not something someone can really tell you what to do precisely.

I would try booting in Safe Mode to bypass whatever is starting up the - most likely - bogus virus warnings. Finding where it is being started and removing that. Then run a propriety virus scan or something like MalwareBytes Anti-Malware.

Same thing happened here to a spare pc we use,not sure if it is the exact same but we only had to reset the computer to an earlier date before the attack occured.
Thing that happened on ours is while searching for a christmas coloring page for kids we clicked on a website and as our anti virus did not catch it,as soon as we opened the page we got a pop up of a fake anti virus claiming we had numerous infected files.upon trying to close it we got a black screen and shutting the pc down and scans did not help us as the darn thing still came up so we had to start the pc up at an earlier time. it has not happened since on that computer but am unsure if it is all cleared out of it but it works fine now as my daughters use it for games and homework and I use it from time to time for browsing

    Hope you get yours going.

What is the name of the fake anti virus,is it anti virus pro or possibly a similar version. It,if it is that can be removed manually but would need to know the name of it before I go offering potential solutions as I do not want you to do anything if not meant for the problem at hand.

If your download does not work pm me or leave the name here and I can try to walk you through it.

All I know is that it shows an anti virus software it wants to to pay for called virus protector, i googled it and found somewhere that explained how to remove it manually, but to do this you had to be able to get on the desktop, when i booted up the lappy it would allow me to put password in then, bammmmmmmmm this thing was in my face so called scanning my lappy the back gound was black so you could'nt go any further, even pressing ctrl-alt-delete would not bring up the task manager so i could stop it,

can only get into the bios system, and really cant do much from there

i know what you mean, i did try booting in safe mode, tried restoring back to best config, even back to factory settings.

Kept telling me i had a device attached like a camera and would shut down
