Im finding it hard to get a purchase or a sale.

How many items have you bought from ebid as im just curious how many people selling have bought on here to.

    Many Thanks

In the past month or so I've bought four items and in future will search ebid BEFORE I try anywhere else for whatever I may be looking for! I've also SOLD six items in the past 6 weeks. Slow but I'm happy with that!

I'm a wee bit confused though. I can understand the finding it hard to get a SALE - but how can it be hard to PURCHASE? If you know what you want, "seek and ye shall find" as it says in the good book!!!

    Default ebid purchases

i just switched over to ebid and have made only 2 purchases so far - but, they are the only on-line purchases I made this month. I plan to use eBid for my purchases as well as sales. I have sold a few items to another seller - but, that has been my only sale so far. I plan to have over 200 items by then end of next week and am sending my information to everyone I know. I hope that we support each other in this business to help assure the success of all of us!
    Happy Selling

This is one of the reasons that it is sad that newbies are allowed to import feedback from elsewhere when joining eBid. In the past newcomers often used to buy a few items to get their feedback started and get rid of the dark glasses. That helped other sellers and also had the advantage of getting the newbie to see the site and how it works from the point of view of a buyer... Now there is no need to do that.

When I joined I brought all my feedback over then had a think about it and got rid and just have a link on About me page now. Got the dark glasses back and have bought 4 items and only have 2 feedback so awaiting the other 2 from a seller. I might add I sent them feedback as soon as I received items and thought I would be up to 4 feedback by now as it is a week since I sent my feedback to seller.

Look at your seller's "left for others". She seems to leave feedback in batches, about once a fortnight. I expect it's coming.

I will say "Well done, you" but I know not everyone agrees with us that the importing of feedback is not a good idea. I have a repatoo link like you but importing feedback is offered so ebidders can't be blamed for making use of the facility I suppose!

I buy what I need when I need it and always try to get the best deal - if an item on here fits that description, then I'll buy it. Occasionally, I'll even buy it when it's not the best deal but that's more about convenience because I know the seller is reliable and quick to send stuff out to me.

I bought some body glitter for a theatrical project on here - was very pleased with it. I always look here before anywhere else online now when I need/ want something.
