Are they not gold??? And then this is the very reason why Paypal are holding onto people's funds. If thet aren't gold then what are they??

Surely all we know so far is that one person has listed a gold bar, and another person has said it's only plated. There is no evidence or explanation to let us decide which position is right, is there?

It hadn't occured to me that i wouldn't be anything but gold but assumed that others knew differently

But they've given no reason for "knowing", no basis for their assertion. I can't see anything that justifies an assumption either way. But then, I wouldn't be buying gold bars anyway.

See i would buy gold bars - maybe not at the moment but then that would depend on the quality of the gold and the price.

I adore handmade jewellery - why pay an highstreet price for a piece of gold when you can have a bespoke piece made that is completely individual and costs a fraction.

I'd rather buy the gold, diamonds, stones etc and have summat made up - so I was rather interested in that chunk although it not being in gold grades that I am familiar with i stopped myself - at that price hitting the buy button :-)

Good heavens... if you can afford that price, what on earth are you doing hanging around here with us pedlars?

Well i'd not checked to see if it was a good price or not BUT I know that i should get a far better deal on a block of gold than buying it as jewellery and I am all for investements

Now I must eat my messages in case my hubby reads cos he really bdoesn't need to know about my shopping habbits

I have been good for the past 6 years, i did used to have a bit of a problem with buying things that sparkle.
