    Default boy's cowboy chaps wanted

I am looking for a pair of cowboy chaps for a boy who wears size 8-10. They would need to be in decent condition but not over priced. Anyone have some?

You don't work for Tesco's do you? As Friday & Saturday. all our staff are dressing up as cowboys/cowgirls - it's to do with 'ToyStory'

    p.s. I won't be there

No, I am a farmer/rancher wife so I am just out here in the country minding my own business! The dressup thing sounds like fun. There isn't any Tesco around here so don't know if they are in the US or not.

I found a piece of soft leather at WalMart and plan to make the boys chaps. It was $3.77 and real chaps run into some serious money, these will be fine for playing.

These two grandsons are 6 1/5 & 8 and almost the same size so am planning to make a pair for each of them. I took them shopping today as the oldest will be 8 on April 7. They looked at all of the toys in 3 farm stores plus John Deere and WalMart. We ate at McDonalds and got a lot of talking in. They both mentioned more than once how expensive chaps were or they would want to shop for them.

The funny thing is that the granddaughters are more into horses than the grandsons. The girls compete at the local fair, they are 18, 16 and 12. Then there are 3 more grands, 15, 12 & 3 so they all keep me on my toes.

When I got home from shopping with the two there was a message from another asking me to go to her final basketball game but it was too late. So I just HAD to stay home with grandpa and unwind!

As much as I enjoy these chats I better get off here, mail out a sale from yesterday and get to sewing.

When I was in Florida we found Target was more like our Tesco, even down to stocking the Cherokee clothing range. ASDA is our name for Walmart.
