Thread: Has eBid tried to buy the .com domain?

  1. #1

Default Has eBid tried to buy the .com domain?

I'm just curious because about 25% of the time I still accidentally type in .com and the dot com is just a parked site - has eBid.net ever attempted to buy that? - I'd even pitch in a couple bucks, lol!
That site SO gets on my nerves - as soon as I enter it I go "doh!" because 4 pop-ups immediately come up - it's so irritating!

It is an odd little site at the .com, isn't it? Some sort of city water project that now, strangely, has auctions of city property! Guess it is too late to buy now, they are using it to ride our coat tails!

From what I have read some sites may cost millions, probably they would not be willing to give it up cheap now. We can put our penny jars away for time being.
