I've been working hard at the market all morning - thankfully the rise in temperature is continuing - it was reasonably warm but rather windy today!

A bit of a red letter day as I am now no longer a "casual" and have a permanent spot! So I don't have to follow the "placeur" (after all I'm the Pied Piper not him!! ) around with all the other casuals any more. As long as I am there and setting up before 8am the pitch is mine and my ladies won't have to play "hunt the fabric seller" any longer.

However, don't go expecting any "witty repartee" from me on Saturday afternoons from now on.... I shall be barely awake!

Now don't you worry Sarge - I know my duty - today's sales haven't affected my listings one iota - I have a complete set for eBid and take only duplicates out with me.

I am home and dead tired. Had to stand nearly all the way on the train. Still, I enjoyed the day, didn't spend too much money and my listings all still intact. What more can I want?

I'm afraid I don't recall a Commander only Major Spaceman or the Field Marshalls at HQ. I thought you had to start at the bottom and earn promotion with valiant listing efforts (plus bribe Captain Jewels ! ) to rise in the eBid ranks. Did Captain Jewels forget to tell me something ?

I managed to add one listing today...have had a week off work due to a dodgy back...haven't been grocery shopping since 11th March

So....haven't had any chocolate since then either...had to buy a hamper from 'the river' instead
