Thread: Auctions stuck again ?

  1. #1

    Default Auctions stuck again ?

I've been waiting over 20 minutes now for an item to move into my sold section and now have another eight things on my list not moving ! I wanted to contact my newbie buyer before I went out this evening.

It doesn't give a very good impression to a new buyer as they won't know what is going on and why I'm not contacting them.

Oh well not a lot to be done. If they pay while I am out I will have to refund them as they are bidding on another thing from me too.

    See you later !

    Just a thought...

It's not a problem with being shown a cached page is it?

I put in a glitch report the other day about closing auctions being stuck and then found if I forced a page refresh (Ctrl+F5) a valid page was shown.

I've noticed a few times here that the browser is not aware that eBid has modified the content of a page.

No I tried refreshing the page several times Mel and the fact that other's had things stuck too indicates that it wasn't just a cached page.

eBid also replied saying they would help if I gave them the item number but I had already gone out by the time they emailed and guess what - my buyer went and paid while I was out ! Now I have to wait and see if they want it refunded !
