Thread: Thank you for the SKU!!

  1. #1

Default Thank you for the SKU!!

I just discovered that the SKU is now being displayed, along with the auction ID number, in our Unsold list. This is going to make life much easier, especially because the Find button can read it.

Thank you for this added function. I appreciate it very much.

    Hi,

New here, can you please explain what a SKU is?

    Thanks

The SKU is an identification number or code of your choice that can be entered in the listing. For those of us who sell stamps and coins, it's essential because we need to find the darn things when they sell. I put the SKU on the coin flip or the envelope with a sticky label, and file in sequence. It can also be used to identify which box it's in, very handy if you have 12 boxes full of stuff that you've listed.

SKU is the number you can use to identify your stock. It is in the 1st section just above the 2nd section on the listing page. If you use this it does make it easier to find the correct item when you sell especially if you sell similar items different sizes etc. or if you are selling in other places e.g craft fairs. Sorry I am not that good at explaining how I use mine but I couldn't manage without it as many of my items are similar just different colours, sizes etc.
