Chris - EVERY opinion counts! LOL
I use it the same way on both sites, and I'm afraid my 'hit' numbers are well down on t'other side too!
yeah my opionion counts...lol.
It's a bit disappointing eBid haven't commented on this thread, as there is obviously a problem here.
I currently have 499 auctions running - the first page of 75, when I view them, almost all show views, some multiple views, but all other pages of auctions show virtually all with zero page views.
When I saw the first page I was quite encouraged - I thought there were finally some buyers around, but apparently not. (I have over 25000 more items to be posted, just waiting for it to be worthwhile!!)
I would hate to think that figures are being artificially inflated, but in the absence of any official comment, what are we to think?

I have only been with Ebid for a few weeks now and have noticed the "View" count registering all over the place. It is not just the 'repost' items that are affected I have had items that are listed as 'on 1st bid' and still they change from day to day to week by week.....crazy!
I've noticed some of my items that have had views seem to reset to zero for no apparent reason, I don't think the view counters can really be relied on!

Mine are OK but I only do 'Buy Nows' and not auctions. Maybe its a problem with Auctions?
I think that Views are very helpful, and that they should be accurate.
On the other side they were not very high (for me) or very accurate.
I am not sure about ebid. I would like to think that they are accurate.
Occasionally we have a problem with the view counters but have not heard of one lately. Yours do seem to be very low, mostly 0 thru 9 which might indicate you are not appearing on google. Did you check to make sure all your listings are there?
Better for exposure (more views) use auction function (7 days or so), the buy it now and put it into your store. Use ten automatic relists (along with BIN) which puts it out to google). Doing all this gets it lots of exposure within ebid and on google.
Using run until sold gives listings very little exposure (views) on ebid as these stay at end of lists. Auction items move up the lists until they end up on top and expire.

Number of views does,at least, let you know if people are interested in what you're selling, but on here they are so eratic, they don't mean a thing.
