Help! "Plug your auction"

Hi, Its probably me, but can anyone simplify the rule for "Plug your auction"
Can you put one thread up per day? or do you have to delete that thread if you put another up the next day?

By "Bumping" is that replying to someone or yourself in order to move it up? Is that what is only allowed once per day? and do you have to delete your original post if you do this?

Hi Kay

From what I can understand in the plug your auctions group, you are allowed one thread only. If you start a new thread you must delete the older one. When you've started your thread to plug your store/s, listings etc, you can either add a post to it with new offers etc, or bump it (your choice), and I believe you are allowed to do this once per day.

i have never been sure about this either
i have been replying to the original but then the new item you are promoting is not in the heading so i think i will delete and renew each day lol
if you find out a better way could you let me know

I gave up worrying about the plug rules the day Gazza came in here and gave a totally different ruling to the one he or his minions had given me by email when I took the trouble to check for clarity. If they don't really know what the rules are, and make up a different version every time somebody asks, what chance have the rest of us got?
