Default How long is too long?

I bought a set of inks on here on 29th Jan and paid instantly, I am STILL waiting for these inks to be delivered. I bought from this seller before and had to wait a few days with the first set, upon chasing them I was told there must have been a prob with the post office yada yada, so they sent me a 2nd set which I received ok ( I must add I am very pleased with the inks and the price and left good feedback.) I went on to order the other set, yes, I am still waiting. Have already messaged them once to ask where it is, they used the good old PO excuse again and said they would send another...The seller has now even sent me an email asking for feedback!! I see in the last couple or so days that other people are now leaving neg feedback on this seller for the same reason. The bizarre thing is that they sell Lexmark and Epson inks, it seems there is only a problem delivering the Epson ones( i think is a bit odd). I am new here and both sets of these inks are my only purchases so far, I am not sure of the etiquette about complaining etc and what to do, I do know however that this is not a fair transaction, can anyone point me in the right direction pease? Its a shame as it had now made me very wary of buying anything else on here
    Many thanks.

Read the other feedbacks. It doesn't look all that good to me, even the positive ones. Based on what others have commented (especially the neg FB "I'm giving a negative feedback that I will be only to heppy to remove once my item arrives...it's been 16 days now") should give you an idea of what to write up.

Oh, and don't let your buying experience put you off ebid. There are more fabulous sellers then there are rotten apples here. Just be wary of who you deal with in the future.

I agree with Jewel, go in right now and give negative feedback.

Wait and see if you hear anything and I guess I would not wait much longer to go and take my money back (there is a limit and after 3 weeks, you are reaching that limit for filing complaint).

Obviously they do not want your business. After buying once and being a good buyer, you would think they would be glad to see you back and buying again. Other fish in the sea, other fish selling ink for printers!

    For the record:

I sold an item, by first-class mail, to a buyer in the UK last November, it took over two months to arrive.

I sent an item by first-class mail to a buyer in the US at the end of December. It was returned to me by USPS 62 days later, because the business address she gave me was missing both the suite number and company name. She sent me a different address and additional postage, and I mailed it again.

Another item that I sent took three weeks to travel from here to Washington state.

If an item is late, I don't wait past PayPal's deadline, but I do give the seller the benefit of the doubt if they are communicating with me. It's also possible this seller is dropshipping, and the supplier of the Epson inks is causing the delays.

Thanks so much for your replies. I have once again not received the inks today, I came on here to find 2 more lots of neg feedback have been left for this seller, but now there is a black line through the sellers name and also they no longer have anything for sale. I am not sure what to do now? How can I get my money back? Its over a month ago I paid for these inks. I totally understand that not all sellers are bad, but this just leaves a nasty taste. I am totally pee'd off.
Apologies to all you decent sellers out there.

edited to add....it gets better and better, I have just looked at my invoice for the last lot of inks I paid for( the ones I am waiting for) and I have called the phone number on it....no such number exists and neither does the webite. so I guess the addy is a fake too....

I'm really sorry this happened to you. Most bad sellers don't last long here, it's too bad you were taken in. Have you asked PayPal to refund your money?

When I read your first post, I thought perhaps the seller (like me) had run into a bit of bad luck with the mail system or perhaps with one supplier. Obviously, that's not the case here.

I think you have 45 days to make a claim with Paypal. But if you paid with a credit card, go directly through your CC company for a chargeback.

Drop everything and go after your money fast. If PP, go that route, if connected to bank or credit card, make that phone call ASAP. Time runs out and then you can not get refund so don't let seller stretch this out any further.

Next do all the other stuff people suggested. Looks like seller is disarmed on ebid, good.
