Thread: Trouble with spreadsheet bulk uploader

  1. #1

Default Trouble with spreadsheet bulk uploader

I'm trying to put some auctions through the spreadsheet and it is not recognising my store category id number. I'm putting through the reference 5:1 for my diecast store category and it will not recognise it. However i notice that in the formula box on the spreadsheet reads as 05:01:00. I've not encountered this problem before.

I've tried clearing the boxes and starting over but am still having no joy.

    Any ideas.

    Cheers

That looks like a time. Has the column go the right format type?

    Hi Kimbo

I've just checked the format of the cells and set them to general. When i type in 5:1 it automatically changes 05:01 and still reads as 05:01:00 in the formula box at the top of the page.

The error message i get though from ebid when trying to upload " Auction 1 Error : eBid Store category 1 cannot be found. Please check your eBid Store configuration in My eBid. Use only category ids eg. 1 or 4c if you have subcategories or 1:4g if you have multiple stores."

As far as i know i've not changed anything. I am using excel 2003.

I've just changed my store category number to 3:1 (theretrotrader vintage toys) and it is now working but when i revert back to 5:1 (theretrotrader diecast toys) the bulk upload tool refuses to recognise it as a category id.
