Yes, discussion should be allowed anywhere in the forums
Yes, but only in a special forum created for it
No, it's not appropriate to discuss other sites here
I don't mind either way

That's fine by me. I think it serves the interests of both eBid and those whose primary interest is selling. To be honest I'd worry about management competence if it was any other way.
I voted No.
See what I sold on eBid - http://www.flickr.com/photos/sellingonebid/
How is discussion of a relevant subject, with interested parties, ever a waste of time? Did you read the premise in the first post? I didn't say I expected to change the world, and I certainly don't see why eBid would be expected to change their behaviour *prior* to a consensus being reached - as I've stated, I think even *after* is unlikely, but letting apathy rule guarantees failure in any situation.
Now might be the time for me to wonder aloud:
if we are trying to avoid gaining search engine exposure for the dark side, shouldn't we avoid using any permutation of their name that has this string of letters in it, as a web search willl find it and recognize it as what it is:
e b a y
such as "feebay" for example. I would think "eboy", "ibay", etc., would be better disguises.
Many changes yet again, started a new venture, and you can watch my store grow here: Really Rural Woodworks
Doubt they'll allow it in any capacity. EBid wants to be the next big thing for online commerce and not the staging ground for the site that becomes the next big thing.
and bump this too, for the same reason
