Everything in NinjaLister (with maybe a couple exceptions) is right-click context. - Right click on something and see what the options are

To Import CSV data - if you had these items previuosly listed on FleaBay with Turbolister , then you can export from Turbolister to a CSV file and then import into an auction set.

There are 4 heavily used threads that I know of that all deal with NinjaLister .. I would suggest going to these threads and taking some time to read through them all , gain some insight into how NL works and what to expect..

Most of these threads deal with NL, however I also tossed in a new ebid user's guide .. plus the site glitches forum (where most of the Ninja bugs get posted..)
Thanks so much. I will read those links.

I don't have much left on the Bay but I have listings on several other venues, which are managed by AOB - www.theartofbooks.com - this is where I would be downloading the file either in Tab delimited or Excel Native. I don't know what the difference is. I only know that those are the formats I can download.

Anyway I digress. So thanks again I got reading to do.

I have downloaded the Ninja Lister 95.6 a couple of days ago...looks like it is all fine but when I send my listings to eBid to go live...they don't show up on eBid. The Ninja Lister gives a message "sent successfully"...but not so when I look on eBid.

Anyone have an idea why? Thank you!!

Go to My eBid->My Bulk Uploads , and in that page you should see a listing of all uploads and their status - click on the link to get details and it will show you the ones that succeed and the ones that fail, and you can click on the report link to get details on *why* they may have failed.. (image issues, category issues, etc.. lots of possibilities)

Also, because upload is not *instant* - it may take as much as half an hour to an hour for listings to propagate and start showing up (A lot of the site is cached to reduce server loads, so in many cases, you will not see instant results when making changes )

It can take a while for a new upload to show up in Bulk Upload list as well .. so if it says upload was successful, you should see results in that page.

Also note: you should upgrade to NL 0.95.7 if you have not done so already

    @Idealproductsales

Thank you for your help! Will check it all out and download the 95.7 and see if that does the trick.

One more question right now...why are there so many different downloads of the NJ...seems like a new one almost daily? Sure would be nice if they waited until it was perfected before launching a version...would make for less confusion...wouldn't it?

    Thanks again, Karen

    Adding to this:

I looked on "my bulk upload" page and there is no link to see all uploads and why they failed...what am I missing? Is it my computer? I'm not very techy,..so I'm feeling a little lost right now.

It is in *beta* - where software is concerned , "beta" means it is in public testing - it is expected and supposed that there are bugs and issues - it is available to people to use, with the understanding that it is beta, there's gonna be bugs ..

The software is updated so frequently right now because it has been available for less than a month - once we have the major bugs taken care of, the updates will be fewer and less frequent.. once they have it stable they will release it as a stable version, and start on the next version (1.x.x) which will again be available as a beta version separately from the stable version, I think .. (that's how most software projects operate.. )

Because of the *WIDE* range of computer systems and users out there, it's nearly impossible to "perfect" software like this - I was a beta tester on many software projects over the years, so i'm used to this sort of thing..

In fact, I cannot think of *ANY* software out there that has, indeed, been "perfected" (except maybe notepad.. haha!)

I am not computer savvy...so I get confused easily with techy things! Thanks fro your explanation!

I went to "my bulk upload" page and do not see any links to see what failed & why...just links to download the 95.7 and the spreadsheet. What am I missing? Is it my computer? Sorry to be asking so many questions!

If you got a message from NL saying "Your auctions have been uploaded successfully" or some such, then when you go to "My Bulk Upload" you should see something like in the miage below.. (allow up to 30 minutes for it to show up after you upload, due to page caching, etc)

Then you can click that link to get to a details page, and click further in to get info on what failed and why

    @ Idealproductsales

Thank you again...the image makes it so clear! However, I don't have anything appearing there...so evidently the NJ version I have did not work.

Guess I will download the 95.7...see if it runs for me. Is that the version that works for you? Wish me luck!!

Actually, all the versions have worked for me, but then , I had to tweak, poke, prod, and test, test, test in some cases to get things to work right..

I would suggest that you prepare a *single* listing, put it in the good to go bucket and upload the *single* listing by itself, to get a feel for how it is supposed to work - once you are able to get a single listing to prepare, upload, succeed, and go "live" as an auction, then you're pretty much familiar with how it should "look and feel" - then if something goes wrong you'll be more likely to notice the problem

0.95.7 should fix the issue I was able to duplicate (when 2 listings in gtg bucket use the same exact local image , upload "dies" after the first "ok" click )

I havent put 0.95.7 through its full paces as of yet, but am gearing up to hit it hard with a 150+ items at a time upload once I get a chance to finish off a bunch of the listings.
