Search results categories in wrong order

I know this was mentioned just after the revamp, but I think it's slipped through the net.

When a search returns multiple items in multiple categories, the category list on the left is in descending order of number, instead of the usual alphabetic order.

I suppose this might be intentional, but it seems wrong to me - typically one would narrow down further by type of item, not just how many there are!

I'll register that I prefer alphabetical, too. When I'm looking for something, it's easier to find if in an alphabetical list. I don't give a hoot how popular the item is........or how many catagories there are......

eg. The results bring up 23 categories. All have 1 result found apart from the bottom one which has 12,312 results and will be missed by the majority of people. The bottom one is hidden way below the page fold. It makes sense to put most relevant at the top.

Any chance it would be possible to slap a sort order choice at the top? Or have it set in one's defaults? *bambi eyes*
