Item not as described.

Does anyone if ebid has any policy guiding "item not as described" because some sellers tend to send a wrong item after recieving payment. I want to know what ebid has to say about this.

All I can say is the Buyer is supposed to be smart enough(does their homework on seller, item description etc). 10-15 line description/s without line breaks are an automatic run-away for me, very low starting Bid with absurd high s/h is a no-no also. Buyer should always draw a consensus from a sellers other auctions.. professionalism etc.

Question should NOT have to be asked in the first place.
eBid is NOT a Seller.. users/members are.

Any transaction is a contract between buyer and seller. As such you have redress under applicable law if you cannot resolve the issue any other way (e.g. CC chargeback).

eBid is a venue and neither handles the goods nor the money and so are not a party to the sales contract. As such their only action is to prevent the seller doing the same again on their site if culpability is proven.
