are my prices ok. ? Am I asking too much
    Hi LizzyA,

I think you are looking good. Lots of items, almost 200, nice assortment, prices are in line too. Nice about me page. This is typically a slower time of year, but I am still getting daily sales.

Are you sure you are showing up on google (BIN and 10 automatic relists)? Why not add auction feature a little lower than the BIN price? Some like auctions if they save a penny over BIN.

Run a sale that starts when they buy a second item (i.e. 20% off second item). Who can't use two baby sweaters in different colors for such reasonable prices?

My only suggestion with the sweet baby sweaters is that you tell potential buyers what yarn you used. That is a deal breaker with me, some yarn is just like twine, if you name the brand etc, it would let them know the quality of the yarn fits the quality of the workwomanship.

Personally, I think you sweater prices are too low. Should be at least $10 each if not more. Very nicely done.

    Hi deltadelta,
You have been very helpful, I do agree with you about the price, I also thought it was too low. I think £4.99 more like it. and the 20% off on second item, Sounds to make alot of sense, no harm in trying anyway. doesn't cost anything does it!
Will also add about the wool, It is very good quality. it is funny how you sometimes miss out the obvious. Thank you for your help.

    Hello,Hallo,Hi,Hej,Bonjour,Bongiorno,Guten Tag,Lay Ho,..

We are ALL buyers! if you want something..., search EBID 1st! :-)

For several months I have been duplicating listings (here & feebay)....

This week hit a new situation...SOLD MORE ON EBID THAN feebay (both item count & $ value)...

If people can NOT find what they want on feebay, the next step is probably a GOOGLE search........which bring them to EBID :-)

    have a great day all

I think you are doing so much right, now it is just a matter of hitting the right place to get everyone's attention. I have seen the little sweaters/jumpers for $12-15 on line, which is still below what stores charge for crumby ones. So your price seems in line maybe it would be pushing it to go 5.99 pounds, but that still would not be an out of line price?

I think that at that price or about that price, buying two different ones would be very easy for a gramma or mom.

And if you are going 20% for off of second items, why not try to go 25% or more off 3rd, 4th, etc items and see where that goes

Have you thought of offering coordinating hats or booties? Fun to mix and match (like buying sweets). You look like you use similiar color/yarn so maybe the hats could be offered in stripes, checks, dots and gramma could buy the one that strikes her fancy to match the sweater with the similiar colors?

Good luck to a fellow knitter, I love knitting the baby hats at auctions, using the double points makes me look so clever!

I agree, the tide is turning, especially with those announced feebay price hikes this week. And over last few months, bids are getting scarce over there too.

I have had fantastic sales over last few days too. A lady who found me last month via google bought 25 items, which I just mailed out. Yesterday she came back and put bids on 41 more!!! Unbelievable. January and February are usually dead months, and yet we are seeing such fantastic sales.

May it continue for all of us.

    Hi delta
Thanks again, you have given me so much to think about, and all makes very good sense.
Have implimented the 20%. the 25% for others is a good idea.
Will I be able to make the necessary alterations to any Invoice if I get a buyer.
unable to knit at the moment, went a right cropper in the snow a month ago and tore all the ligaments in my right shoulder, and yes you've guessed it, I'm right handed. put the mockers on abit at the moment.
But hopefully will get back to rights again.
