I did some cursory research into ebooks around Xmas and went so far as to download the free "Kindle for pc" onto my machine. The user reviews I read made mention of the River actually removing a persons access to an ebook based on a host of other decisions they had made throughout the site. Seemed to be enough different voices reporting the same outcome, following a few different scenarios, that it gave me pause.

As my eyes get worse I think an ebook would be a good option, but my eyes are made worse by looking at a screen for greater lengths of time.....and around we go. I'm still curious about them but can't imagine them replacing a real, live, book for me.

    Thanks for those links Yorkie

Just like records got replaced by cds and now downloads.

Like video tapes got replaced by dvd and shortly by downloads

So books will be replaced by ebooks. Especially when the Greens start on about how ebooks will save the trees.
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else
