I have been sending alot of flyers in my feebay parcels this last week advertising ebid so hopefully I might see some selling soon!!!

Don't reduce your prices, have a sale via your banner ("notices"). I give discount if they buy second items (25% off & free shipping), and bigger discount if they buy more (30% off & discounted shipping).

Saves you changing anything in your listings. People really LOVE a sale and if you only discount 2nd, 3rd, etc, you sell more items.

Or to look at it another way.

I have done shopping centres and malls all round the country.

These are two examples from around 10 years ago.
Both these examples were within a month of each other in August/September - both with the same products.

Hinckley - charged per week £90 - could get a 12 foot pitch at a couple of weeks notice.
Quiet little centre - plods on, no-one looking over your shoulder - stop and have a coffee whenever you want, friendly centre manager
.....end of the week, took around £800.

Victoria Centre London - charge per week - £1,000 for a 12 foot pitch - 2 year waiting list to get a pitch there.
Busy busy busy - got their own rules and regulations - and are strict - centre manager breathing down your neck - people rushing all over the place.
End of the week takings were over £7,500.

Hicnkley saved you lots of money! - or did it?

You are correct sir! Location location location. Better to spend more to make more than to spend less and make nothing.

And what seller pays for item has to be counted in too, as you say. I see people going crazy bidding at local auctions, yet with each bid, their profit goes lower and lower. They end up trying to overcharge and the item sits unsold. No profit there.
