Does anyone know if we can link stores?
i.e I sell perfumes & skincare is there anyway I could link 'lustin4love' store to mine? Or maybe a shoe store etc.

Does that make sense? I mean can we advertise each others store in our own store?

Yes, you can exchange store links with other sellers on your About Me pages - my own About Me page will show examples. I wouldn't recommend having the exchange links in your listings as you could loose a sale when a buyer / browser clicks the link in your listing and forgets how to come back to your listing to buy the product that brought them here in the first place.

I am about to have my about me page vamped as I notice alot of sellers saying it's the first place they look at if they are interested in buying

yes it is. Its the first place I go to - especially if I'm buying from someone I've never bought from before or if I don't know them from the forums. Its a good idea to have a full about me page giving a bit about yourself, selling history and your t&c of online selling - it helps to get the buyer to build a trust in the seller, and also in a way, especially in the early days when you're just starting out - works as a substitute for low or lack of feedback.

As far as the exchange links thing on your about me page goes - as long as you have anoather seller to eaxchange a link with - from what I gathered both you and Lustin were interested in doing this so you could swop links from each others stores quite easily.

To find the link for Lustin - use the store banner with url or http address for the store you wish to link to and on your about me page in edit format - just paste in her store banner - when you click save - clicking on her banner should open a new page with her store on it. I'm sorry if that isn't very clear - I'm not very IT minded and have difficulty doing things like that myself. All mine are more luck than judgement.

If you make a private arrangement with another seller to show-off each other's shops, you can put links in your about me or your listings. I'd recommend about me in case you fall out or they stop trading - easier to remove a link from one page than all your auctions.
