    Hello Folks,

I too made the jump. April 2007 is when I joined Ebid, but last Wednesday is when I upgraded to seller+. I wanted to sell my saw and the cost of selling it on feebay was over half, almost three quarters of the price of the lifetime membership ($49.99). I talked it over with my boss (wife) and we decided to make the change.

I am excited about all the features, pricing and meeting new folks. This whole thread is like one HUGE support group for all of us feebay addicts / users. I know things will be slow for a while but I have just signed up with ClixGalore to get an affiliate logo so I can paste it as a signature to all my emails. Word will get out things will hop.

I hope the Ebid team is ready for the expansion. I do have a suggestion though for Ebid. Can you guys advertise on the National TV stations and include listing fee and final value fee comparison against feebay? Heck you boys can even make a "wise choice" to switch in the midst of the recession we are in. Once the rest of the U.S. wakes up and realizes how badly they are getting taken by feebay that is when the tide will shift.

Good luck to the Ebid team and all the wonderful members of Ebid!!!

    Happy Selling and Buying!!
    Jim

There have been hundreds of threads about this.

Who is going to pay for this?
Thousands upon thousands of pounds or dollars for 1 x 30 second advert?

Tazbar tried it - and look at them now.

You have a good point. I just want to see feebay fail. Maybe in time Ebid will be able to run some ads. Right now might be a bit early.

Tazbar? I don't have the slightest clue of who they where or what they did. I have just seen the name for the first time when you posted it. I'll Google it.

    Hi Jim, welcome to ebid.

ebid is different than feebay in that sellers can stock many many items, keep a complete store full, and pay nothing. We have found that the more we list the more we sell. If you follow what you did on feebay, you will not be as successful here. The google links take your items and run them all over the internet, it is best if you have a lot of items to get spread around That is biggest difference and usually can make or break your sales here. Now is time to clean out the house, as one of our member's says list everything that is not nailed down, and watch your sales come. Good variety, good price range draws in the buyers. Good multiple item discount is vital too.

So check out past forums, look for the selling tips (ignore comments from those who do not list in quantity and have no sales) and make sure you set up listings to get out on goggle (buy it now PLUS ten automatic relists).

Yes, I think more are realizing that feebay is not a good choice for most sellers. Their low handed way of handling sellers is an outrage, so are high fees and silly rules.

You are among friends here and will not be backstabbed or bashed by other sellers. When you are all set up and running and have not had a sale in 2-3 weeks, come back and we will look over your listings and suggest tweeks. Someone is always here to help you.

    good luck.

Default I sold one or 2 items at ebid years ago but now nothing

Hi. I use to list from ebid using Auction Tamer. Which listed to this site. Then the formatting changed and Auction Tamer stoped listing to this site and only stuck with ebay. I would like to come back since listings are free. But I do not have a lot of time to post up 1,000 items or so.

    My Qeustions are:
    1. Can I find my old items on ebid?
    2. Do ebid have an Importer to bring my listing from ebay to ebid?
I need to know so I can list here.
I need to get away from ebay now I am spending more and breaking even, I need to sell alot of inventory and I am looking for other avenures.

I want to come back if I can get some sort a way to bring my items over:

At: ioffer I have overy 1,000 items
at: Bonzel I have over 1,000 items

I have imported them all from ebay If I can do that here I can start selling here to.

    My email address is:
    toysbyrena@gmail.com

I would really like some help. rena

Try the links after my signature. Kimbo's link should be of assistance to you. I don't think this site has an importer from e*ay to ebid. If it does, I've never found it. If you're a seller + lifetime member, you can use the bulk uploader found in my ebid. I don't use it because I don't have excel, but there are other programs [from my understanding] that use it. I don't have 1000s of items to list like you, so I just list my items one at a time with 7 days duration and 10 autopost [reposts]. Hope this helps.
