    Default Exciting Auctions on Ebid

Oh dear! New look and we have EXCITING AUCTIONS........ermmm 1 bid takes (as usual). Perhaps I am not thinking forward enough but A new look site will NOT bring in loads of buyers! I have just tried to find a Folding camper and no auctions but on the other side there are several. SO the problems remain. Lack of Adverts, And the fact most people can NOT afford to run a real auction as they have to start at the price they want or risk Losing money (I know I tried it) Its a catch 22 thing and I don't know the answer! Yes I know we run BIN'S but they are usually just a £2-£3 more then you want and if your lucky someone pays for it!

I hate to put a damper on today's launch but the Bigger picture is just the same.

I always start at the minimum I willing to accept on all sites as bidding wars don't seem to take place anywhere any more.

But is now the day to be looking at it? We know all that. We know that just redecorating isn't enough on its own. Gazza's already mentioned picking up the marketing again when the site's settled. Why moan today of all days? The site looks good, and has gone live with very few problems given the scale. Hey, let's try and be positive for a brief exciting moment. Go on, change the habit of a lifetime, you might find you enjoy it!

    With Kimbo on this one.

Give it a chance and get plugging your auctions everywhere.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

Sadly, if folding camper vans were not listed before the new look site launch - they won't be there after the new look site launch. I think a bigger picture and long term view needs to be seen.

Hopefully - with the new site being easier to navigate - well, on the surface that I've delved into at least - new members will find it easier too and maybe will hang around a bit longer than their 'one purchase wonders' and may decide to do a bit of listing themselves. If G&M plan to do a bit of advertising to co-incide with the sites new look - then that should (with all things being well) bring in a few more members.

Maybe we can have cause for complaint if the new look launch fails to deliver new buyers, sellers and listings a few months down the line, but for now, I think this early in the game a more positive outlook needs to be had

I quite agree Babs. Today is a day for celebration, that everything has gone so smoothly, and not being negative !

Hopefully when all the tweaks are done and everything is working well I would hope management will be shouting from the roof tops about it !

If in a few months time not much publicity has been spotted then I might come and have a moan with you Red

    Am also disappointed.

Did a search for Bell Aerosystems Lunar Landing Research Vehicle (used or new) and there are none listed.
