I take no notice of the forecast anymore, we were not supposed to get snow last night or this morning but we did. This afternoon has been brilliant blue sky but still well below freezing.

Best bit about living near Heathrow at this time of the year is on days with blue skies.
The planes coming and going have a habit of leaving a huge saltire in sky above my house!

The fact that they are putting Sunday's weather warning out this far in advance means they are a bit worried about it - either that or just playing it safe.

On the Scottish news last night they reckon the temperature will get down to around -20 at the weekend.
