I can't help with any of the above but since folk have mentioned trouble free PP outside of feebay quite a few times on here recently, I thought I'd mention that I was lurking on their boards over Christmas and apparently PP are now extending their 'holding' processes etc to other sites outside of feebay. So if you have a website and use them or, quite possibly over here, we could be forced into the same ridiculous situation as 'over there.'

Just thought I'd mention it ... sorry (don't shoot the messenger!)

My advice would be to put a hold on new listings untill after the site upgrade. I have no idea what the management have built into this one; but in the past they have changed the layout and sizes of listings. So if they do that again atleast you will not have so many listings to change.

Wink scroll bar not working with explorer

Tech got back to me quickly on the scroll bar. It seems that explorer doesn't get along well with the mouse controlled scroll bar, but a scroll wheel will work ok. They're working on the glitch. It works ok with FireFox, however. I Didn't bother to bang in the picture problems to the techies. Since it's apparently working now, I don't imagine it would be traceable at this point.

Besides, all these little glitches just add to the charm.......well, sort of.

    Cool Ureka

Finally got around the Google nonsense. It turns out that if you use any other of google's services (i.e. email via gmail) the whole cellphone confirmation of identity idiocy goes away! So, if you're planning on signing up for google checkout, before you go to the signup window, swing over to gmail, create an account, and THEN try to sign up for Google Checkout. Now wouldn't you think one of the wingnuts on the Tech Support team (even the "specialist") might have known that, said something, and saved over a week of idiocy!???!!!!!

But I just can't help asking questions like:
    1. If I bought a throwaway cell phone and gave them the number, how would that confirm my identity?
    2. If I use someone elses cell phone, how does that confirm my identity?
    3. If I have a gmail account, since they don't confirm my identity to open it, why should that eliminate the need for a cell phone to confirm my identity?
    4. In short, isn't Google simply building up a heck of a nice base of cell phone numbers for no understandable, and therefore no legitimate reason???

    Hmmm.
