    No need to apologise to me - if I'd been experiencing those symptoms I'd have been scared too - anyone would be!
    I'm not sure that pneumonia is good news but make sure you look after yourself and get well soon.

    At least it's something they can treat. Don't cheat, though. It's a sneaky disease (several people in my family have had it, including me). You'll start feeling better before it's really over. Please, please don't do anything strenuous or you could have a relapse. By strenuous, I mean don't cook, don't wash dishes, don't go for even a short walk. Can you set your computer up in your bed?

    i would like to say a huge thankyou to all of you who collected to send me flowers and chocolates and such a pretty vase which arrived today , i cant tell you how moved as i was by this thoughtful act and it has brought me great comfort to know your all out there thinking of me and being so supportive , my father and (my mum) have both been porely over the last couple of months and in and out of hospitol which is why i havnt been very active on the forums , sadly my father passed away on the 16th at home (which im very thankful for ) and the funeral is tomorrow , im not sure who organised this for me but whoever it was (and i have my suspitions ) thankyou thankyou thankyou and a huge thankyou to all those who have given, your kindness is very much apreciated x mandy

    Lance Corporal Bits even Captain Jewels and myself have been known to feel sympathy and empathy at times ( but just keep it under your hat as we wouldn't want the troops getting the wrong impression ! ) I hope all goes well for the service.

    For goodness sake will all you troops hurry up and get better. I'm going to end up running a troop convalescence home instead of a regiment !
