drop down menus are way too sensitive!

i have been trying to go through Buy->Uk->well i don't know what's past there because i have been unable to get all the way down to the uk link before the menu closes.
it is far too sharp, even being super careful i cannot get through!

i have a vested interest in making it easy for folk to buy, but if even i give up, what chance do browsers have!

I just tried it . . . Buy/Europe/UK and the dropdown menu stayed up. They are very sensitive, I have to put the mouse exactly over the one I want.

What browser are you using? I use FireFox. Can't think of any other reason for the difference.

I am driven mad by "Export" which drops down a menu and it jumps away as soon as the cursor approaches.

Lol - They used to be even worse when I arrived back here in 2008 they were improved, slightly!

The trick is to move the cursor straight across to which ever country is parallel to the continent you have picked and then move it down or up to the country you want. Maybe the drop down boxes will get a revamp when the new site is launched ?!

The dropdowns for countries are only used on the forums.
Most buyers are unlikely to use the forums, unless they have a problem.
If you click on My Ebid, or the text link to eBid UK by the logo, you can ignore the country dropdowns. If you click on the eBid Logo, it sometimes takes you to the UK frontpage, other times the main frontpage where you choose the country.
