It would be extremely helpful if the SKU/Product Code appeared in the sale notice, so that one didn't have to rely on being able to get into one's "my ebid" to find it. Thanks.

As an alternative you could include the code in the title or description. This is something I will be doing when I update my listings.

We have a lot of stamps and coins listed here. When I started listing them, I used the eBid auction number as an identifier in our spreadsheet and our filing system. It's unique and I could copy and paste without fear of a typo. We listed all of them as "Run Until Sold" because relisting them would lose that original number.
Then I was advised by some forum members to put the original number in the SKU, we could find them that way. Great. We now have many, many of them running with an expire date. The ones that I relisted have new eBid numbers.
I just sold eight stamps. THE SKU IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND ON THE SOLD LISTINGS.![]()
How do I find the stamps? This was supposed to be a simple solution, now I'm going to have to go through the spreadsheet and hope the description that I entered has enough detail for me to identify the correct item. Can anyone tell me how to find the SKU?
I have also realized it wouldn't matter what number I used as a SKU, it would still not be available after the item was sold. What good is it?
Fifteen minutes of sheer terror. I have almost 3000 stamps in the file, and I envisioned having to go through them one at a time.
I'm very lucky. I had enough unique information in the title on the spreadsheet so I was able to find them, get the original number, and find them in the file.
I looked again, and I still can't find the SKU anywhere on the sale notification. I don't mind going into My eBid, but can someone tell me where to find it? From the OP, it sounds as though it's in there somewhere.
I use the SKU too, and it would be handy to have it on the solds, as I have to open each listing when I am packing up to see the SKU. Didn't this question come up before? Seems familiar.
I do automatic relists and I think that the original ebid number always stays with the item. Only way to get rid of it, I thought, was to chose "list similiar" when reusing the listing and then it vanishes? But I could be wrong because I do use the SKU for id and don't pay much attention to the id.
At least SKU remains in listing, the weigh of item disappears altogether after auction ends. So if there is a question on method, or a combo invoice must be done, the items have to be pulled and weighed again.

The item keeps the original eBid number for the ten automatic relists. Then the listing goes into the unsold bin. When I relist the item from there, it gets a brand new eBid auction number. I have been copying the original number into the SKU box at that point, because I thought I would then have it to find the item when it sold. It's true the SKU stays in the listing from that point forward. But it is NOT in the listing when it gets moved to the Sold bucket (as I just discovered).
For many items, it's not a problem. But how would you find the item if you have thousands of them filed in ID number sequence?
