Your listings can appear in any of the 18 countries eBid serves. There are no additional fees for this.

Your listings must appear in your home country - you cannot exclude that.

To have your items appear on other country's sites simply tick the relevant boxes under International Shipping when you create the listing.

If you intend always to offer your items to the US (and any other countries) then you can use My eBid > My Defaults to preset which countries you sell to.

Be aware that usually the seller sells the most to their own country and the rest world wide. I am in US, sell 3/4 of my items to US buyers and the rest world wide.

If your home market is not strong or has fewer members, then you must concentrate on selling overseas. You will have to work very hard to build customer base, offer lighter items int'l buyers want, build reliability and trust, etc. before those sales come. Might be a good idea to bring over your feebay feedback, etc and pay very close attention to listing details, searchability of title/description, etc. Read past forums for selling tips on getting those sales fast.

Welcome to ebid and good luck

To be honest I am a seller on ebay and am disgusted at the way they are headed , they should call themselves Amazon2.
I am brand new to eBid and would like to start selling, mainly books. If I list my books on eBid U.K. are they shown Worlwide.
Also I looked at some book listings which show number of watchers etc., how do I know when someone is actually bidding on my items.

    Cheers Artie

See Astral's reply in post #2.

Watchers are not shown, perhaps you saw the number of views.

When somebody bids on one of your items, it will be added to your "my ebid" summary on the "received bids" tab.

    Welcome!
