Default Nikes Trainers that are not quite right

i have just done a quick search ( nike ) there seems to be quite a lot of items that are not quite correct on here,, buyers should beware,
how to tell, certain nikes and not cheap like airmax ltd airmax 90s and so on,yet these styles are on here very cheap and very poor beware if seller states AAA quality, also beware if airmax ltd airmax 90s are £30 - £40 these styles do not match the rrp they should be, but some sellers are asking to money for these not quite correct items, sorry to be a bit brief but if i say what i want to this threat will more than likely be removed. these items will also last a very short time because they are poor quality....i also doubt nike even make some of the styles / colours....i found about 30 item in a few seconds of searching,,,,

    Have you reported them?

Yes please report any that you feel are not right. We all want to maintain eBid as a good honest site. The report button is on the left hand side of each listing.

    Are they Nike or not?

If they are Nike, and not fake or copies, there is no reason to report them.

The description and selling price are up to the seller.

If they are not fakes or copies, then imo, you are wrong to put anything in the forum warning others about your competition.

However if they ARE fakes or copies, then report them.

I agree with that and would add if you have some 100% way to spot fakes tell us about it. I see on e*a* right now sellers with 5,6,7 negs about fake Nike, on eBid they would have gone so without physical proof or being 100% sure I would not attack any eBid seller.

ebid does not pull threads of members talking about fakes (or talking about anything for that matter). But it does take more than saying you "doubt Nike" made these shoes to declare them fakes. They might be seconds, a smaller run of unusual style you don't recognize, or be a few years old?

If you have proof, report the listings.

i did a simple search to see if my new listings where showing,,, i found quite a few fake nikes listed on here,, yes ebid need to be a safe place to trade, and sellers listing fake gear drive good customers away from ebid..
i personally want to trade on here and do as well as my e bay shop, i will be spending a little more time on here and hopefully increase my saleson ebid. i am supprised that nike dont monitor and have removed these items for breach of copy right..
all i am trying to say is caution when buying airmax ltd and airmax 90 and some others.

if new users come on ebid looking for sports shoes.this will put them off buying from abid sellers please look at ( ioffer ) its full of this type of rubbish. i was only trying to warn other ebidders to be carefull....

Did you report these listings? That's the only way to 'warn' everyone as not all users come to the forums. If eBid agrees with you they will pull the listings and no one will need to be careful.

Are you saying Nike don't make airmax 90 and others you have stated in this thread?

I just done a search for "airmax"

Only 1 of 7 listings has nike in title,
The other 6 do not mention Nike by name, they just show a picture.

Now using a brand "logo" without permission is intellectual property infringement, So if you think that these are fakes report the items on fact, in other words be prepared to back up your claim that Nike don't make these.

There are other reasons why the listings could be reported too.
