    I have tried around 7 or 8 times to validate my credit card over 4 days to have a seller lifetime account - I have tried three different credit cards. I have a ticket waiting on a reply (I sent the messge on 4 days ago) - still waiting on a reply. Tried to send gazza a private message as suggests in his post to find out that he does not accept private messages. All round very poor. Some posts have suggested using Paypal to get round the credit card problem, however this is not an option for a seller lifetime account - perhaps it should be! Any advice welcome how to sort this.

    Oh dear - not again! Four days is a long time to wait for a reply after getting a ticket number - support are usually much quicker than that. I would reply to the email giving ticket number and ask again for a solution. You can mark that "for the attention of gazza".

    I do hope this is not happening to many people still - it is worrying to think that some may just go away without seeking assistance either from the forum or support.

    Default Can't verify credit card on Ebid

    Hi Im a newly registered user. Yesterday after I paid with paypal for the liftetime seller+ my account was not upgraded b/c they had computer issues until 24 hours later.
    today I go to list an item for sale and Ebid can't or won't validate any of my CC's. I tried 4 different cards (all good mind you) without success.

    GAZA, are you listening? this is the same message eveyone is getting and after reading the forums NO ONE has provide a decent explaination yet.
    The message everone is getting is the SAME ONE. An error has occurred. Netbanks having trouble validating my card for some reason.
    Why has this problem not been fixed yet? I am reading a lot of replies by ppl who only want to add to their post count and haven't an answer or a clue to help solve this problem.

    If you do not know how to solve this problem specifically DO NOT reply with some nonsense. You are just mudding up the situation and creating more confusion. Leave it to the experts. Experts are you listening? What the heck is going on with EBID?

    You paid via PayPal for Seller+ Lifetime.

    PayPal had problems sending out their notifications, there was a delay in your account being upgraded.

    It was upgraded about 25hours ago.

    I'm not sure why you are attempting to upgrade again?

    Gazza, I was not trying to upgrade again. I was just trying to list an item and ebid wasn't allowing me b/c it was having me enter a CC and wouldn't except any of my cards for some reason. I finally got one to go through so Im good. Sorry for the attitude eariler, just fustrated I'm having problems getting going on ebid. I got it figured out now. thx

    Default Still waiting no solution

    Well here I am again 2 weeks later and still no resolution to the problem. No more contact with support, sent in all information asked for but then got no replies. So I tried again today and surprise it still does not work.

    I guess eBay is the only solution. BYE !!!

    If you have an outstanding ticket then please leave the Ticket ID here and I will personally check. All tickets are replied to if a matter is outstanding.

    eBid uses the services of Netbanx to process all debit and credit cards. We are not privy to the fine details of any card payment refusal.

    Well, I'm back again ... looking to see if it is possible to become a seller here. Will try my credit card again today.

    Edited to add ... still no luck.

    Do I dare to try lifetime seller and pay with PayPal? I'm concerned that I won't be able to list items.
